Black Screen
Black Screen collects nothing.
There is no account, no sign-up, and no analytics. The app makes no network requests. It has no way to send us information, because there is nowhere for that information to go.
Your session history, your streak and your settings are stored on your device and only on your device. We cannot see them. If you delete the app, that data ceases to exist, because your device was the only place it ever was.
We do not use advertising. We do not use tracking. We do not share data with third parties, because we do not have any data to share.
The app can show one optional reminder notification if you turn it on. That is scheduled locally by your phone. No notification data leaves your device, and we are not told whether you turned it on.
This website
If you give us your email address on this site, we use it for one thing: to tell you when Youth Ink releases something new. We will not sell it, rent it, or pass it to anyone else for their own marketing.
Email addresses are stored with MailerLite, who process them on our behalf so we can send the emails. Every email includes an unsubscribe link. Use it and you are removed, no questions asked.
Under UK GDPR you have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected, to have it deleted, and to withdraw consent at any time. For an email address on a mailing list, unsubscribing does all of this at once, but you are welcome to ask us directly instead.

Changes
If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it. If a change is significant and you are on the mailing list, we will tell you.
