On your device, and nowhere else. Kept has no accounts and no servers. We cannot see what you have written, and we cannot recover it for you, because we never had it. If you delete the app or clear its data, it is gone.
At the moment, you can't. Because nothing is stored in the cloud, your scores stay on the device you made them on. This is the trade-off for the privacy promise, and we are looking at an export option that would let you move a file across yourself without it ever passing through us.
Open Settings inside the app and tap Restore purchase, or tap it on the unlock screen. Apple will confirm the purchase and unlock the app.
If it says no purchase was found, check you are signed in with the same Apple Account you bought it with. Purchases belong to an Apple Account, not to a device.
You choose the attributes that matter to you and give each one a weight. Every friendship is then scored from −5 to +5 on each attribute, where −5 is worst, 0 is average and +5 is best. Those scores are combined into a single percentage.
The number is your own judgement made visible. It is not a measurement of anybody, and it will change as your values do. There is a fuller explanation inside the app, under the ? button.
You can flag up to two attributes as deal-breakers. If a friendship scores negatively on one, its overall score is capped at 40%, however well it does elsewhere. It is entirely optional.
No, and it is built carefully not to. Kept scores the friendship — how well a relationship matches what you have said matters to you. It never passes comment on a person.
Purchases are handled by Apple, so refunds are too. Go to reportaproblem.apple.com, sign in, and choose the purchase. We are not able to issue refunds ourselves.
Please do. Email ok@youthink.wtf with what happened and what you expected. If you can say which iPhone and which iOS version, that helps.
